Small Business Development Center (www.sbditc.org) - IRS Tax Workshop - This workshop is free of charge and takes place every third Thursday of the month in National City. It covers the basics of being Self Employed including a definition of accounting methods and types, the Schedule C, Self Employment Taxes, deduction of your auto, meals & entertainment, Office In Home, and others. Topics include the current SBA ARC loans and recent tax law changes. Future topics will include tax savings strategies for business owners.
